My dog

My mom decided to get a dog after her divorce about 10 years ago. Being younger and all, my brothers and I were all excited about the fact of getting a dog. We were up north with relatives when she told us. My brothers and i were excited to get back home and see what she looked like.

The dogs breed is a cockapoo. Its a mix of a cocker spaniel and a poodle. She is a smaller/medium sized dog. She had mostly black fur with a little patch of white fur on her chest.

We were all thinking of what we should name her. we thought of names like Oreo, and Mickey, but we agreed on Macie. The first time i saw her she was no bigger then my shoe. She was my first dog so i was amazed by having a puppy.

Now shes 10 years old which is pretty old for a dog. She pretty much sleeps through three fourths of the day. She can also drive me crazy like barking at 7 A.M. until i get up and put her in the kennel. All in all, shes a good pet and i enjoy having her around.
