Wouldn't it suck if we haven't had advanced technology? The majority of my free time, I'm doing something in correlation with technology. like chilling and just watching TV or simply searching the web. Getting to classes at Sheboygan would be hard without a car that we have advanced in.
Without a car i would be lost. especially when i was in high school. There were times when i just wanted to get out of the house so i would just take off and go some where else. I totaled my first car when i was 16 and relying on my parents to give me rides every where was rough. Having a car you have a lot more freedom.
Another piece of technology i love is the computer/internet. I spend a lot of time surfing the web and spending my time on facebook. I also keep in touch with a lot of my friends on facebook and i don't know what i would do without it. speaking of keeping in touch with people; without cell phones i would go crazy as well.
I also love laying around and watching TV or movies. I just bought an HD TV to make movies come in better. Probably not the smartest thing to purchase because the cost of tuition. So without technology people would find it harder to keep themselves entertained.

You know, I don't consider myself all that old, but most of what you mention (facebook, cell phones, HDTV) weren't an option for me when I was your age.
We did have cars, though.
