Surgery

The last time i had a surgery was about a year from now. It was the only time at surgery and hopefully the last. Everyone gets all worked up about surgery but its really not all that bad if you get put under. I had to get my appendix taken out last November.

It started out with a minor stomach ache so i thought nothing of it. It was a Friday night and of course i ignored the pain and went out. The next day the pain was worse and i still didnt think to much of it. At night time i decided to just watch a movie and the pain became almost unbearable, so i asked my mom to take me to the hospital.

when i got to the hospital i had to wait forever just to get asked questions. once i got the questioning done they went through basic tests to figure out what the problem was. It seemed like it was taking for ever but the gave me some morphine to ease the pain. at about 4 in the morning the doctor came in and told me i have appendicitis and will need surgery at 7 A.M. They kept me up so they could keep doing tests. Going under with the anesthesia was impressive because your out within a few seconds.

I woke up in a nice comfortable bed and i felt fine. Still a little messed up from the stuff they used to put me under so i just fell back asleep. When i woke up the second time i was just soar and they said i would have to spend the night. I really didn't mind laying in bed all day watching tv. The best thing i got out of the surgery was i got a doctors excuse to not work so i didn't have to work thanksgiving. That was my most recent surgery.
