Confidence plays a role in almost everything we do. You have the people who top the meter out who are confident for everything they do. Or you have the people who get shut down in everything they do sadly. I would classify myself as average in this area, but one of my confident flaws would be school. Never enjoyed the grading aspect of it.
In school if you simply get a bad grade on something, it can easily bring your motivation level down. It would be nice to be one of those gifted persons who puts no effort into anything, and gets straight A's with ease. Besides that point, the everyday grading system for all aged students can effect confidence.
Also i believe confidence effects everything people do. If your feeling unstoppable during a basketball game it seems as if everything comes natural. Makes you focus to the point where you feel great at what your doing.
There is also the confidence for meeting new people. I think that all has to do with past experience and how your parents raised you. A parent always telling you to always "shut up" could play a tough role on a kid and you could see how they wouldn't want to be social. It makes you wonder how little stuff from the past can effect people for the future.
