For the most part i like making food and trying random foods that ive never had. While i was little my brothers and i had to take turns making dinner for our family. We made simple foods such as spaghetti or pizzas. When we made foods more difficult for us we had our parents help us out with it.
Now i only like to make food if i am getting paid for it. Ive worked in a restaurant for almost for years now and cooked for the past two. The "head chef" of the restaurant took me under his wing so to speak. He taught me the tricks and what goes with what.
While im working i basically get to eat whatever i want. Im used to eating all of this nice food but when im outside of work i get to lazy to cook so i eat and mac dons and taco bell constantly. Working in a restaurant also has its downsides. If its not to busy there is constantly stuff to clean thats just nasty.
Being so interested in food ive been having thoughts of taking classes at a culinary school. I would either try to go to the culinary school in Chicago or the one in fondulac. It has been confusing for me because i am also thinking about restaurant management which is kind of what im going for right now.
