myspace and facebook

Every now and then there comes out new ways to communicate with people. My age would probably be the age of growing up with computers and its almost second nature for us. It’s funny seeing older people trying to using computers and typing away with their two pointer fingers.

The first ways of communicating through internet was obviously email. Then a genius had a bright idea of creating a website that had people create their own profiles. The first popular form of this was myspace. I have a myspace account and never use it anymore but I used to use it all the time a couple years ago.

A couple years after myspace came out; facebook was created by mark zuckerberg. He is a loaded millionaire all because of a simple web site. It is more organized and has a lot more features then myspace does. I believe programs like facebook and myspace will soon dominate the ways of using email.

I like facebook because it’s a simple way of keeping In touch with your friends. In my opinion I think its less of a hassle to “write on someones wall” then to go to your email address and write them that way. Facebook also has a “facebook chat”, now where you can talk to friends, kind of like AOL. Another new popular type of communicating is through web cam. I have never used it but Ive seen my friends do it through a program called skype. I think its interesting how our technology is improving every day.
