Holidays

Holidays has always been a good time of the year for me. My favorite would definitely have to be Christmas. I love it because you always get out of school for break and and you exchange gifts with family and friends. The only down side is the snow :/.

Holidays have been better when i was younger. I used to get so damn excited for Christmas to come; it almost interfered with my sleep. Getting gifts with like toys used to keep me amused for weeks or even months. I used to get gifts like super Nintendo, movies, and Nerf guns, chillest time of my life.

Now i kind of dread holidays because i work in a restaurant thats open for almost every holiday. Its atleast a 10 hour work day when i have to work on one. It also consists of carving turkey or ham on a buffet line for 8 plus hours. gets pretty boring after your 10th carved turkey.

When i do have some time left in the day of the holiday i spend it with my family. Its a good time to keep in touch with relatives that i dont see to often throughout the year. The food is a definite plus throughout the holidays as well. Thank god for Christmas :)
